Looking for something with a little more substance than Good Night Moon?

Ada Twist Scientist by Andrea Beaty

Pass the Energy, Please! by Barbara Shaw McKinney
“When a creature firmly demands, pass the energy please”
Written in rhyme, this book describes the food chains of various ecosystems, from the complex chain in the arctic ocean to the simple chain of decomposers that are everywhere.  This is a classic book that belongs on every child's shelf.  



Little Red Writing by Joan Holub
For her school assignment Little Red Writing is tasked with writing the bravest story ever written.  Up to the challenge, Little Red sharpens her lead, straightens her eraser, and sets off on an adventure through the schools' library of descriptive words, the gym full of adjectives, and finnaly comes face to face with the Wolf 3000 pencil sharpener.  A cute book that teaches kids the art of storytelling.
